These cellulose filters are used in qualitative analytical techniques to identify and characterize substances.
GRADE 4
Particle retention: 20-25 µm
Provides extremely fast filtration with excellent retention of coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates such as ferric hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide. They are very useful for routine clarification of biological fluids or organic extracts during analysis. They are used in situations where high flow rates are required and the collection of fine particles is not critical, such as air pollution monitoring.
