Borox Qualitative Filter Paper Grade 2
F11002
These cellulose filters are used in qualitative analytical techniques to identify and characterize substances.
GRADE 2
Particle retention: 8 µm
Slightly more retentive than Grade 1, resulting in increased filtration time (i.e., slightly slower filtration rate). More absorbent than Grade 1. In addition to general filtration in the 8 µm particle size range, the extra absorbency is used, for example, to retain soil nutrients in plant growth experiments. They are also used for monitoring specific atmospheric pollutants and in soil testing.
